Introduction

My work tends to follow a similar procedure of observation, evaluation, and action. Treating each project like a pseudo-scientific social experiment, I establish a set of controls with the human variables invited to operate and experiment inside these parameters. Rest Stops and How We Dwell both utilize the consistency of the architecture as a neutral environment allowing the experience to inform the resulting art work, however the rest stops are a found dynamic or a social ready-made and each How We Dwell is a set of conditions I have constructed.

My role remains omnipresent and objective with each as I move through the various rest stops and as each participant of How We Dwell mingles amongst my domestic carnage. Ultimately in my work, I attempt to reveal the intricate and oftentimes absurd nature of social interaction through the manipulation of exterior structures in order to shed light on the human condition. Within this dynamic I am artist, curator, and facilitator; a multi-faceted role where I am happy to probe, prod and ponder.
